Is it possible to verify the RNG reliability of open-source wallets at least? If yes, did someone already try to do it? #asknostr

Yeah, it's really sad that they fooled so many people. Though, writing was on the wall for a long time. One thing I don't fully agree with is that ANY software engineer can fully understand the cryptography, or at least I wouldn't trust many. But there should be enough cryptographers in a community to scrutinize the code that's available for inspection.

Got that part, thanks. I meant more like this: from the truly OSS projects, is it possible to verify which ones are using proper RNGs, and which ones are trying to cut corners. I can only imagine more wallets will be "hacked" in the coming weeks and months.
