Yep that’s always the big issue… but the only thing you can do is find your tribe and build with them… Usually that means finding a new tribe, since you have a completely different vision and understanding of the world. It’s a harsh, but common, reality when you change your world view and understanding so completely. I don’t try to convince my family and friends anymore. I welcome the ones who ask questions during the cycle highs and educate those who want to learn… but I am busy building relationships with people who see the world as I do and want to build a resilient, regenerative, sovereign community… it won’t be easy, but I would rather fail trying than just continue to shout into the void trying to convince normies to listen

We used to have the theory, but lacked the tools… think austrian economics & libertarian political movement - great theory that never got us anywhere… but thanks to cypherpunks, we now have both the theory and the tools to build a new society - we can now design zero-trust decentralized systems into our communities all over the world Books to start with: - A Lodging of Wayfaring Men - Second Realm - Book On Strategy - Praxology of Privacy We will either build new communities and thrive (look at the Amish living basically unaffected by events like COVID) all around the world until it becomes the norm, or we will continue to suffer… I will choose to build ✊🏼🙏🏼

Going off-roading? My checklist of recommended gear in order of importance… - Compressor + essentials to air down & back up quickly - MaxTrax x 4 + shovel (will get you out of 80%+ of situations) - Winch + tree saver + snatch block + tow rope + recovery dampener (covers most of the tougher 10-15% IF you have a tree within reach of how much line you have) For the remaining 5% of the time when you’re seriously fucked and solo aka no help… the best piece of gear I’ve found for remote desert / beach / solo off-roading that has never failed me is a sand anchor… you dig down at least 2ft and then bury the anchor, then pull yourself out with your winch… it’s dead simple and you can even wrap it around boulders… brand I would recommend is Deadman Off-Road (great product)

Agreed! That’s why I’m bullish on the work that is doing… essentially it’s a direct paywall built on Nostr that also allows for revenue sharing for creators - it’s going to change the game once we get all the biggest Nostr guys posting their podcasts/articles/blogs/books/etc on it 💪🏼✊🏼

My 2 sats - don’t bother with such a small round for self-defense purposes… the 9mm is the smallest personal defense round it makes sense to carry Old man’s rule - If you aren’t going to train with it regularly, then you shouldn’t carry it - keep it simple and stick with a 9, 40, or 45
