You know! That’s a great idea! Currently, I’m working on a quick connect system for a pickups so I can easily swap them, I have an order for 100 PCBs I custom designed. When I get those in, I could do pick up swaps pretty quickly. That being said I’m not under the illusion. I can do a much better job than Seymour Duncan as they have a half century of engineering prowess. I think the value in getting a hand wound boutique guitar pick up is no two pickups sound the same. This is because the inconsistencies that come about from hand winding versus machine winding. While two Seymour Duncan’s sound identical, every one of mine is unique.

Thanks! I build my own pickups, they are roughly equivalent to Seymour Duncan ‘59 in the neck and JB in the bridge. That being said, I’d give the customer the option of purchasing whatever pickups they want.

Plays beautifully. IMO what separates a high end instrument from a mid tier guitar built over seas is materials and time spent on the fretwork and setup. So I cut my nut with very tight tolerances so cowboy chords are very comfortable, and I dial in the action at the 12th fret at around .065” at the bass side and about .055” on the treble side. As I don’t really have an established name as of yet, and I’m building a reputation, I’m selling relatively cheap compared to what others with brand recognition would sell the same build for. This one I would probably do for around $1800 or 2 mil satoshi.

He’s been a good transitional president, but we didn’t vote for business as usual or even gradual improvement, we’re at war with a Marxist revolution, I expected transformation: retribution for Covid and elections, draining the swamp. Now it feels we got a 3rd term of George W bush. All I can hope for now is he doesn’t tarnish MAGA so bad that JD Vance doesn’t win in 2028.

I finally got around to taking some photos of this guitar, it was an exercise in efficiency, the first guitar I used a hard wax finish on, and the first design without an angled headstock. I’m keeping this one for myself as I don’t yet have a nice lightweight stage guitar, and there are a few minor Imperfections. But I’m happy to build another for the right buyer. Bitcoin accepted! This is a prototype electric-acoustic hybrid, geared more for performance where comfort matters a little more than studio quality sound. I wanted to create a model that sounded better unplugged than most of the others available on the market, I have yet to test it against others in it’s class, but it does sound better than my Martin backpacker , so that’s a win.
