Hello, fellow human being. I'm excited to inform you that I = another $real human being. Trust me. Beep boop.
Normies aren't really equipped to even process what psychopaths are capable of doing. They will take every "this is a conspiracy theory" copout they can hold onto. They don't understand they are dealing with people who would take what they consider an utterly unacceptable atrocity and not just engage in it but scale it up into an industrial factory of such atrocities.
Thank you so much for posting this, this is what I was looking for. Measuring the scope of wealth of Bitcoiners and the real purchasing power of Bitcoin are very important in my opinion because they lay the path to fair and stable Bitcoin prices.
Are you going to support arbitrary fragment shaders? Could do very interesting things with this...
This kind of sabotage is completely expected and should be considered the kid gloves phase. The people in charge of the world would rather you had actual nukes than Bitcoin. Incidents like this should be almost embraced and used to practice, prepare and strengthen ourselves. It should be used as an opportunity to practice zero tolerance towards things that are truly unacceptable.
The humanity of subhuman Russian soldiers was voided by their actions and choices they've made, not words said about them by others.
But that is medicinal. It cures pedophilia, permanently!
Ugh, how dare you make me feel normal.
"My moral code is the New Testament, but I hate when innocent people defend themselves from being enslaved and brutalized."
Caffeine is indeed worth getting up for.
That's the dream world, but we live in the inverse of that.
The temptation of speedrunning getting banned there is strong.
Found another piece of the Bitcoin market puzzle!
I disagree with your proposal, it seems completely redundant, especially when your UFD is anchored 1:1 to satoshis (and this matters a great deal because the common man is not an abstract thinker and will avoid friction), but I strongly agree with moving to pricing everything in Bitcoin. This conversation should be open at all times until it is satisfactorily resolved. I would suggest the difficult question is the fair pricing itself, not what unit of account is being used. My current thinking is perhaps we should look into pricing goods in Bitcoin and Bitcoin itself using similar methodology to how actual purchasing power of currencies is measured (as opposed to the rates of currencies to each other on the market). Basically the closer we are to accurately answering questions like "what is a fair and reasonable market price of a loaf of bread in BTC?" and "what is the approximate collective wealth of all active BTC users?" the better off we all are.
Well, at the end of the day it's not really about programming. People are tribal and respond to dominance hierarchies. It's not about bringing everyone into this optimal 99% ideological alignment, it's just about making them obey. And when the world consists of weak people, most of whom can be easily bribed and/or intimidated, you need to do even less. All you have to do is bribe and intimidate. Having said that, it is remarkable how everyone in the late 20th and 21st century has "JEWS CAN DO NO WRONG" practically carved into their brain. Like they feel like they are not allowed to think anything that can *even unfairly* be construed to suggest otherwise.
What's unsettling is these are very tightly linked, too. Once you start raising standards for yourself, you start realizing that tolerating bullshit from yourself made you very willing to tolerate similar bullshit from others. A coward is more forgiving of cowards, a hypocrite is more forgiving of other hypocrites and so on. And it's not about becoming judgmental or arrogant of course, but like you say "knowing what’s for you and what’s not".
No, after what they have done over the course of the last 5 years they really aren't.
This is completely inevitable. The only question is how many outlaws are there by the time this happens, how strong they are and how united they are.
Based and correct.
In my opinion projects like this that are mapping and measuring our combined wealth deserve more focus than whatever speculators are doing on the exchanges. The closer we are to accurately estimating the purchasing power of Bitcoin and strengthening it to the best of our ability, the sooner we can stop caring about the exchange rate "volatility" crap.
Currencies don't just have exchange rate, they also have the real purchasing power. As soon as we collectively figure out ours we can stop caring about this crap.
I wish I could.
They are similarly reprehensible.
There should be more attention given to the purchasing power of Bitcoin, it can't be treated exclusively in the way of forex market. Fiat currencies do get considered in terms of their real purchasing power after all.
