The message is clear — remove the strongman, keep the system. Venezuela does not need a new face on the same machine. Venezuela needs free elections, judicial independence, and accountability. Who controls the keys to your intelligence? For most of human history, autocrats controlled speech by locking people up. Then they learned to control the platforms. Now they're learning to control AI — deciding who gets access, what it can say, what it knows. The gatekeeper problem doesn't disappear with better technology. It migrates to wherever the chokepoint is. Sovereign AI isn't a tech question. It's a freedom question.
