I don’t get why this is such a big deal. The entire setup of the company never made sense unless at some point he would start selling #bitcoin to fund dividends (ideally not at a loss). Maybe my 80 IQ brain just never understood the whole „tap the credit markets forever“ story…🤷‍♂️. I think the whole marketing and voodoo around the financial engineering drew in attention from way too many people that never tried to understand and just looked for a messiah. I think the whole story is just now starting to get interesting. If #Strategy is still around in a year and somehow manages to grow their stack and get STRC back to $100 his thesis will gain a lot of credibility… but maybe the whole thing blows up before he gets there. Future is wide open… we shall see.

Looks like #Germany is gone for good. Tragic how the #CDU in this government has broken every single campaign promise and still is holding on to power. #Bitcoin gains used to be tax free after a one year holding period (same as gold and collectibles). This is apparently going away now and bitcoin will be treated like stocks which means a 25% capital gains tax will apply. The reason is obviously fairness BS and maybe also the fact that the government is incapable of managing money. Despite having around the highest tax rates on earth additional income is needed to keep the various state run Ponzi schemes such as the pay-as-you-go pension system afloat.
