Tether and Strategy are going to be fascinating to watch. They’re obviously honeypots for insolvent governments to try to grab but if they avoid that fate, they’re likely to emerge stronger than any government in the world. Maybe they are the first nodes in the network state model? If the Sovereign Individual thesis plays out, we’ll see places emerge that are privately run and offer security and rule of law as a service to members. Would you move to a privately managed citadel?

Eat the rich, eat the young?

Im so disconnected from normie land I don’t even know how to relate to this mindset anymore.

I have a friend in real estate who gets it. 100% gets it. She was going to buy Bitcoin but got cold feet and bought another house instead. She knows real estate is priced to perfection but old habits die hard.

I don’t get how most people still don’t see it. Inflation is baked in. Doing nothing means you get poorer. Stocks. Obscenely high PE’s Real estate. Prices are above what use value buyers can pay. Means investors set the market price. Bonds. Don’t keep up with true inflation. Commodities. Maybe corn out preforms on the year, but I want to store value for decades. Art/cars/collectables. No liquidity, especially when you need it most. Gold/silver. Boomer Bitcoin. Not a bad bet, but it’s been captured before. Businesses. Operational risk and market risk. Where else do you go?
