I wouldn't hold Lopez as a pilar of Venezuela's resistance. He is part of the corrupt opposition who pacted with the regime to some extent. He went from having a gps shakle inprisoned in his house, to walking freely in Caracas to then fleeing the country. His family was involved in shady contracts of the petrochemical branch of PDVSA, Monómeros in Colombia, a state multi-million dollar company, and no Venezuelan saw any benefit from it. Look it up.
