Oh, you can just disable network permissions from Google's Camera and Photos apps, and presumably they won't phone home.
Nah. I meant the other way around with GrapheneOS / Pixel. But I just mean I don't feel or hear the the notification vibrations.
Correct.
It doesn't let you view the photos you took unless you install Google Photos.
1. Zapstore where possible. 2. Obtainium or F-Droid if available otherwise. 3. Sandboxed Google Play Store as a last resort, and enable exploit protection compatibility mode if the app doesn't function properly. 4. Web app instead of Android app if none of the above work. 5. If all else fails, ditch it and find an alternative if one exists.
Nah. They come through. I just don't hear or feel the buzzing from the notifications most of the time, either in my pocket or on my desk. That rarely happened on iPhone.
After 5 years using an iPhone, I'm finally transitioning back to an Android device with #GrapheneOS as my primary driver, for all the freedom.
Other than this issue, I'm pretty comfortable with it already. It's been great!
I'm missing my texts and calls more than ever. Bug or feature? Wife is annoyed that I'm ignoring her. Something different about phone vibration mode on this phone. Turned on notification sounds for now.
Still a bit choppy loading assets in notes and when tapping into notes, but empirically feels slightly better.
