Works great if you can tell whether the machine is on (or not). For example, a lot of EVs have this type of switch, and since they make no engine noise, it’s impossible to tell if the car is on.
I’m not so sure about this. I live in an independent electorate which is both ethnically and culturally homogeneous. Democracy is actively suppressed whenever it challenges the tyrants in charge.
