When I suggest people to use nostr, they ask. “can young kids use it as well”? I say yes. At some point they ask, what if some kid uploads horrible stuff just to hurt another kid? Would those images be there forever? I say yes. At that point they say:” … freedom and all sounds good, but that is a horrible no-go. The bad stuff will remain there forever and there is nothing you can do to protect your kid from it”. Now i am asking the NOSTR experts, is that the case? Or is there a way to handle this?

The bitcoin core and knots dispute is a total shitshow, agreed! Similar to that Bcash debate , but since BTC is much bigger now and better distributed, I give it a higher chance to survive that, using knots+BIP hopefully. Is it freedom money? Not so much as before, but it definitely is FY money when hold in self custody. Is it the inflation hedge? Also less now, because wallstreet was able to capture it and do their paper btc and OTC trickery on it. But unlike Gold they can’t manipulate it forever. Then yes, monero is also nice. But also not the crown of everything. Roll-backs, not transparent, less decentralised. Look at zcash which is soo free and untraceable that if someone just spawns new coins no one will even notice…

Great argumentation buddy 🤣 So is BCH good or whats the point? I had a look at it and looked pretty scammy to me. Let me know what I missed. It is much more concentrated than btc. Less decentralised. And a magnet for ego bloated people like roger ver, craig wright and kim schmitz who just can’t stop fn around with things… I wouldn’t like that for any money. And the best option i see we have so far is btc in combination with monero. If sth better comes along one day, i will also honor that and switch 🤷 so what’s the fuss about?

Agree! Not our friends. All of the money flowing into their products for paper promises,… not good. They use the cash however they want to either buy OTC or directly on the market if they want to manipulate price action depending on what’s good for them.
