The only one that can provide absolution is God through his sacrifice of the son Jesus Christ. No man can do this. There is no intermediary person necessary to gain access to forgiveness of sins. All humans have direct access to God and salvation through Jesus Christ. Our sins are already paid for. Salvation is given, and cannot be earned. Peace and Love
