I’m always shocked at how everyone only talk about the income tax but omit the social security contributions part, because “it is paid by the employer” which of course is complete bullshit. In real terms at least 50% of the raw income is taken away by the State, and all public services are failing. This is so insane.

They are working on this for a long time and it’s a massive change to their whole codebase, database and accounting principles. So no. has been pushing this non sense (IMO) for a long time already.

Bitcoin is made of a set of rules and standards enforced by nodes runner. Yes, there are no rulers, but there are definitely rules. Does not seem to match the definition of anarchy very well, only partially.

In 1918 there was 1.8 billions people on earth. 9 millions death is 0.5% of the world population. WW1 killed roughly 1% of the world population. WW2 killed roughly 3% of the world population. The Black Death plague killed at least 20% of the world population. The covid pandemic killed “only” 0.1% of the world population and that is assuming those numbers are not grossly exaggerated. Don’t submit to the artificially created panic by WHO and other powerful institutions like this.

Amazing rollout but “forcing” this display unit while the whole network already uses the bitcoin/satoshi standards is non sense. It’s equivalent to using the mile unit in Europe, nobody does that and it just makes it more difficult, confusing and error prone to interface with Square bitcoin.
