Is it mandatory? That's the biggest problem over here. They make it mandatory by law so it makes it overly expensive. And they all work with levels. So when you are young and have your discount level is 0, and it usually goes up to something like level 12 and every level is about 5% discount. You acquire higher levels by not claiming insurance for a full year. Additionally if you claim the insurance company randomly drops a certain amount of levels you obtained, which means that in most cases you are better of not making a claim and just pay it out of your own pocket. I really wish i could just insure myself for any physical damage i cause to a person. That can easily spiral out of control it the person in question ends up in the hospital for a long time or some other permanent handicap. Now i really feel like i'm paying way too much for a few scratches on somebody else's car that i have to pay myself anyway. Either directly, or by losing discount levels so you pay it back over a couple of years. It's really crazy.

I second this. I never try to be too political online because it just makes enemies. i am in favour of the "melting pot" but you can only add so much material in the pot before the temperature drops and stuff won't melt and will instead collide with each other. It's not just Germany either. It's most European countries. Apart from letting in too many, the unrest caused is not punished enough either. You don't invite people in your home and let them steal or demolish your stuff. Why would you let this happen to your country?

Recently had a new pc built (like a month ago) and i did not find the ram particularly expensive, but i did not follow any price trends.

They understand it just fine and they understand that most people actually have put a lot of trust in banks and financial institutions so they use that trust to keep people in their pocket. In the end all of these attempts will be futile.

Thanks! Was a nice one not too far from where i grew up and my mom lived before she met my dad. Was a good one for sure, familiair and unfamiliar parts in a 50/50 mix.
