I just asado'd me some picanha. Already digesting it as we speak.

GM! I think the "empire too big" was one of the causes for the collapse of the USSR. They really had no idea what was going on in the peripheries of the zone.

GM! "Fate is what we make of it." I heard in "Agoraphobia" by Incubus. Always resonated with me.

Me: "Give me recipes for stuff i can do with my sourdough starter discard. I don't want to add any other ingredients." LLM: "You got it boss. First get 500g of additional flour and 300g of water. Combine this with the discard and add 10g of table salt. Start kneading.... ... Enjoy your sourdough bread with zero additonal ingredients! 🍞👌"

My friends think i'm trying to get brainwashed checking out stuff that in my ideology (which i mostly try to keep to myself) is more or less the exact opposite. I still have to live with these people on the same rock so even if i don't agree with them it's still a good idea to understand their mode of operation, even if only to try and understand how they got there. They may give me reasonable arguments against something i accepted as truth. Listening is the most powerful tool you have. Use it more!

GM! If you're not exited about something that might have woken you up you should enjoy the moment and get out there! Early mornings are for me always a great opportunity to spot some wild animals in the forest, or actually enjoy the bliss of silence while walking through my city without all the noise and turmoil.

My kids are very aware of my fascination of shrooms and while walking together they will always point it out for me. I am by no means an expert in what they are all called even though i had a few wild picking workshops and read some books about the edible ones. Some i can pretty clearly identify by now but i still rely on the "obisdentify" app a lot. Snap a few pics, throw it in the app and in most cases it comes up with accurate results. I have identified some 150+ unique species by now and i still keep finding new ones, though maybe only at around 5-10 each year.

I LOVE mushroom season. Even though i can find the little buggers meanwhile in other seasons as well. Nothing says mushroom like 3-7 days after a good day or 2 of rain in September or October.

You think so? I find them very mediocre. They are ok but don't have much taste.

Sorry to hear that. It sucks if you work your ass off on something that in the end seems to be not so well received by others. I am not saying there is no place for journalism but things happening on the other side of the world, or even on the other side of my ultra small country have zero effect on my life in general, so there is really no reason for me to read it and get upset (or in a very sporadic case, excited) about. Just build-up emotions which have no outlet. I see news articles just like scientific papers. It's great to have them if you are trying to understand or learn a new thing. Good reference material for sure, but there is no reason to absorb all produced news as it is happening right now. If you are not doing any investigation or research on political conflicts in europe you would not have to know about a conflict between russia and ukraine, yet this gets planted every day in your face from an opinionated perspective in such a way that you start caring about it until it gets old and dull even though it is no improvement for any of the people since the start of that conflict. Less money is made so you have to find something new that captures your audience so you can make money. It is just a form of entertainment.

It is more like a political tsunami than creep at this point. You may raise valid points, others may raise valid arguments against it. Apparently the path of truth is somewhere in the middle. If it was totally obviously black or white there wouldn't be all these discussions. Everything will work for the foreseeable future no matter what you choose. Let everybody make their decision with the thousands of arguments at hand and let's move on to the next thing to tackle. I think any problems arising from the outcome will teach people better than the endless drama and speculation of predicting the future, where people think their children will be disappointed that you could not convince people to switch to a different bitcoin node software. Just spin up more nodes with your preferred software if you think it matters so much. It's not like there's a 1 node per person limit.

I can't believe all the extremist views on something as stupid as this current OP_RETURN debate. It makes no sense to me. All this division about something that in the end does not really matter. I have no problem if you run core or knots or BTC_NODE.BAT but this, like everything else, will not be the turning point or even remotely the biggest problem we will face. All this over dramatized stuff is much, much more toxic than anything core or knots can ever do wrong or make right for that matter.

Thanks for the clear information. I have been replying to several people yesterday because they keep going on about centralization which i found really hard to wrap my head around to even understand what they mean. And also not diverting from the whitepaper which is meanwhile 16 years old and proven incomplete on various parts if we want to use bitcoin as currency. Ossifying the code right now will make it a somewhat weak competitor to gold at best. Most people will have to deal with intermediaries and centralized databases to keep track of who owns what simply because there will not be an option to get a transaction for most people.

Wrong analogy if you ask me. Knots has no locks but a closed door but you can open the door and enter anyway. Not saying you shouldn't run knots if you want to but it does not prevent you from getting the transactions that you didn't want. It's more like a protest sign.
