The person who wrote the software for the coldcard also felt (or ar least acted) very confident. While it is good for your own peace to feel confident it easily turns against you. It's a delicate balance. You should always let your confidence be challenged. In the end it leaves you with more knowledge and this is what should prevail.

This is for me THE thing with llm's. You can think about anything you know nothing about, describe it in a vague or obscure way because you don't even know what you would search for and out comes a bunch of stuff that allows you to get a basic understanding of it and then continue on your journey of finding out more about it. Has worked from the first release of chatgpt and continues to help me in more ways than even code generation does. Also podcasts for the fringe stuff. After listening for 15 years i still think Joe Rogan makes the best podcast ever in terms of combining the fringe and controversial with the scientific. I don't listen to all of them and pick them by hand but i listen to about 1/3rd of them. For lighter stuff i still flip to youtube but that's mostly entertainment though it did get me into things like fermentation and perfecting my steaks, so less dense information, more entertaining, still valuable. GN!

My friend had 2 dogs, a small one and a poodle. Always when i arrived and rang the doorbell there would be a lot of barking. Now the small dog (also like 14/15 years old or so) has gone deaf and as it turns out the poodle was never triggered by the doorbell, but started barking because the small dog did.
