Simulcast.me uses Nostr Wallet Connect. No balances held. No prepaid credits. No surprise bills. The stream pays as it runs, directly from your wallet, and stops when your rules say so.
It is rather complicated. I've found Amazon S3 to work pretty reliably and it wasn't too frustrating getting set up. I'll take a look at backblaze. Are your streams being successfully archived?
