The added sugar and all types of sweets of course (unless sugar free). I never brought sugar home but I ate chocolate and desserts regularly. Now I make it all using cacao, honey, dates, nuts, and other healthy ingredients. I also eat fruits when craving sweets which helps a lot. After 2 months only I stopped liking the taste of the dessert made by regular sugar. It felt too sweet - like too much, and I do feel better and calmer in general. Good luck and can’t wait to hear about your own experience. Let me know if you need some dessert recipes to help with your sugar cravings.
It’s been a while since I last posted, so here’s an update: I’ve been off sugar for the past 3 months and it feels good - calmer if I may say. I still enjoy dessert, but with organic honey or dates. I felt (and this is just a personal observation) that ADHD is linked to sugar. I definitely recommend trying this path!
You’re right - there’s no point of hating on anyone anyway. It’s like adding poison to your own meal. Hate will only bring more hate to your life and the world, and love will bring more love. So everything should be done out of love.. and that surely includes discussing facts and truths even if some are not ready to accept yet or have different views. We can learn from each more than ever. I already learned a lot in this space.
