We need to mine in space. It's impractical to send gold and cash to the moon, Mars and beyond. Time stamping will be an interesting problem at distance. Mars is 193 to 1336 light seconds away, printing a block will be interesting.

I'm in town once a week. We shop and run errands in town.

Yeah, I used to live in town. It has other nefarious histories. It was featured on 60 Minutes decades ago as the heroin capitol. It fell into ruin when the factories closed. The frog bridge was part of a renaissance in the late 1990's. If you visit, they have a street festival every third Thursday, May through September. Other points of interest are the Willimantic Brewery and a great number of Victorian Houses. I think Willimantic has the third most lived in Victorians in the country. The brewery is an old converted federal post office. The food, beer and atmosphere are great. We like being seated in the bar.

This is the frog bridge in Willimantic. Willimantic has a unique history with frogs, especially during the French Indian wars. I drive by 1-2 times a week. Also note, the ftogs sit on top of spools of thread. Willimantic is built around textile mills, known for producing the best thread in the world in the late 19th and early 20th century.
