Awesome Bitcoin Culture is an open list of 300+ Bitcoin artists, books, films, games and places. Artist of the day: Lady RedHorns. Lady RedHorns paints angels who turn down the Fiat Demon. She was born in Siberia and works from Playa del Carmen, Mexico. Her bio says over a thousand private collections hold her work. Her X account dates from August 2023. Since then she has put physical acrylic paintings on Bitcoin as Ordinals, where the collector gets the original canvas. In May 2025 that meant Rejected Fans, 20 hand-painted skulls. This year she ran HODL: Psychological Endurance, Ordinals with physical originals on Magic Eden, from February 27 to March 6. On September 23 and 24 she brought the Angels of Freedom series to the Midwest Bitcoin Summit in Columbus, Ohio, where three canvases opened at 1,000,000 sats each in the Bitcoin for the Arts silent auction. Her 2026 work also includes small punk skulls in a series called PUNKOMANIA. I found no announced date for her next release. Start with The Temptation of Bitcoin Angel, a 16 by 16 inch canvas where the angel looks away from the deal, toward the Bitcoin symbol on its wing. Awesome Bitcoin Culture is an open list of 300+ Bitcoin artists, books, films, games and places. Artist of the day: No Good Kid. No Good Kid works behind a bandana and a pseudonym. His name is not on the cover, but his hand is on some of the Bitcoin books and zines you can actually hold. He spent fifteen years in branding and marketing before he found Bitcoin in 2020. At meetups and conferences he found a culture under the price talk. He designed Top 10 Bitcoin F*ck Ups for Dušan Matuška and AmityAge, launched at BTC Prague 2025, and the Dark Forest zine with an essay by Peter Horváth and poetry by bitpunk.fm. In 2026 he produced and art-directed Tamers of Entropy, the lunarpunk novel by juraj & lisa. The premium edition ships in evidence-bag packaging with an "open after reading" envelope, stickers, a USB-C key and a MeshCore device. Preorders were open by 27 April, and the book was officially released at CryptoByte in Liberec, held on 16 May. On 1 October his Nostr account published the Nostr Community Zine 10/26. Awesome Bitcoin Culture is an open list of 300+ Bitcoin artists, books, films, games and places. Artist of the day: Rebel Money. Rebel Money builds Bitcoin art out of the stuff Bitcoin wants to replace: dirty dollar bills, resin, polymer, LEDs. His line is "Mining quality dissent since Block 548777". Vespa Libertas is a Cyber Hornet with the genesis block hex on its wings, lit by LEDs that go green, red or orange with the price and new blocks. Blank Note is a polymer banknote that shows its message only under UV light. Every piece is unique and he only takes bitcoin for them. His latest is El Regalo (The Gift), a resin and electronics sculpture in an edition of 21, which he talked through on The Movement of Art in April. On 21 November he speaks at Bitfest in Manchester ("Fix the Money, Fix the Culture") and joins an Ordinals panel the same day. In September his Penny Orange 25 Up stamps were a lot at the Noderunners auction in Arnhem. Start with Penny Orange: a Penny Black remake with Satoshi where the monarch was. His way in: he moved to Chicago in 2010 to study painting, then spent years making works for other artists, "a modern-day Renaissance apprenticeship". In 2021 he found the Fake Rares on Twitter and went pseudonymous. Follow him: https://x.com/PepenardoStudio https://www.instagram.com/pepenardostudio/
🧵 What some of these paintings are about. THE DREAMER and THE DREAMLESS, the Sleeping Knights: two Pepes asleep in red and green armor, the colors of a price chart. The red knight slumps like a falling market, the green one leans back like a rising one. Arthurian knights, with the trader as soldier, caught between dream and drift.
Awesome Bitcoin Culture is an open list of 300+ Bitcoin artists, books, films, games and places. Artist of the day: Pepenardo (Nardo). Pepenardo just turned six copies of Bitcoin Magazine into one-off artworks, drawing his Sleeping Knights, the masked rider of FAKEGENESIS and Pepe straight onto the covers with a Sharpie, each paired with two one-of-one trading cards. The knights come from his oil paintings THE DREAMER and THE DREAMLESS, shown at BMAG Nashville and Bitcoin 2026, which sold in the BMAG auction for 0.327 BTC each after 197 bids. He paints Old Masters as corrupted files, like his Hemessen surgeon with a smug Pepe holding the knife.
