Having lived here for a while I agree with most of what you wrote. A slight due disagreement on point 1. Some points I'd add: Germans, trained so well to carry guilt, will not accept responsibility for any wrong doing in their own lives. Its as if they subconsciously can no longer accept responsibility. They've been so overburdened already. Being proud of any German trait is dangerous. You never see it. Germans can not innovate. It must be done as it has always been done. There is no alternative.
