Strike does that and is available in Europe.
Why not buy a coffee denominated in sats? We have dollars and cents. We have bitcoin and sats. It's simple.
Don't you like paying by card? You only need to provide your legal name and address, write 16 numbers, a date and 3 digits, while also needing to approve the payment from your phone. Oh and if you use a vpn, the 2fa page might not work and you need to restart the process. That's way better than scanning a QR code and tapping pay. /s
Sats are sats. We also have a great symbol for it, although not in unicode yet. If ₿ is sats, how do you type 100m sats (1 Bitcoin)? Or is the idea to completely ditch the 100m number and reactor everything as sats/₿?
If you do an aqua-style liquid integration, it will be the perfect all-in-one wallet to beat them all. Liquid is useful for long-term holding but still quick and cheap to transact. Because lightning channels, even when custodial, require you to be online frequently (to be trustless). I feel liquid offers a better "storage" option, while lightning is best for more frequent transactions.
I like how wallets like aqua make it dead simple for newbies to transact with bitcoin and its layers safely and without headaches, and Boltz plays a big part in this. However, I'd prefer Boltz (or the swapping layer, in general), to become more decentralized. We can't have all modern multi-layer wallets depend on 1 single service... Is there a way to randomly choose a boltz instance instead of a central one? Maybe with discoverability and reviews through Nostr, like cashu mints.
