23AndMe does not have full genomes. So exactly what is the danger? Even with full genome what exactly is someone going to do to you with it? Getting the DNA of anyone is trivial as we shed it everywhere.

Not to mention that the companies in the cloud behind these products and all their "trusted third parties" have access to everything about you and will give any and all of it to "authorities" and are subject to being hacked. Compared to that the prior user isn't that scary.

No it ain't. Its interface is primarily web based. The main implementation doesn't work. Host it yourself and it is still spotty. The relay mechanism itself for it seems hit or miss. I very much wanted it and I spent some time trying to make it work. Then went to nak Go program. That was a little better for a little while but clumsy and it stopped being dependable in a few days also. So back to nos2x or having phone handy to work with Amber. Pretty disappointing there is not a better foolproof solution and implementation.

No we DO NOT NEED age verification. There is little to protect from. We already have laws against various forms of predation. Nudity? Sex? All over most media and has been for some time. Information about critical stuff especially for many a teen? Better not close that door.

It is not about protecting the children at all. It is about forcing KYC on everyone to use the internet or even your own phone and computer. The State wants control over the last bastion of freedom and escape from its surveillance and control. The rest is nothing but excuse.

An app on nostr should not spam general nostr conversation space. Nostr would die as social media if every app spammed like that.

Under voluntaryism individuals trade what value (as voluntarily decided by others) they produce for value produced by others. So it is self-adjusting dynamically. Otherwise what/who determines my needs and abilities or yours? And is force initiated on the basis of such decisions?

Who determines what whose needs are and how? Who determines what your abilities are that can be demanded? Therein lies the obvious rub.
