With LND 0.21.1+ supporting onion messages, native BOLT12 flows via LNDK now work without maintaining a separate LND package. This makes deployment much simpler for sovereign self-hosted Lightning setups. Good question. Right now I’m mainly focused on integration and making BOLT12 actually usable in real-world setups (Umbrel / StartOS, UI, flows, etc). But I’m definitely getting deeper into the stack — especially around LNDK stability and interoperability. Long-term I’d like to contribute upstream where it makes sense.
