H-Hour 004 - Bayonet Brewing - 6.8% ABV. B++, New Brewery to me and it’s a Corker. Wonderful hoppy, fruity NEIPA #ale #beer #bier 3.5/5. Quality Birthday Brew. Fruity nose. Bursting with hoppiness and a little sweetness. The Project, Caerphilly.

Electronic Butterfly - Azvex Brewing - 4.0% ABV. B++ and a touch. The end of Keg and it was wonderful. Hoppy Delight and very sessionable #ale #beer #bier 3.6/5. Had it as a taster of it was completely at the end. Blown away how good it was and so good for 4.0% ABV.

Biscoff Chocolate Brownie Pastry Stout - Yonder - 7.0% ABV. B++, A Boozy Twix, stolen from Uptappd. A solid, roasty, chocolate Banger #ale #beer #bier 3.5/5. Dark as the deepest darkness. Rich and warming. A real warmer from the West Country.

Whispers In The Wind - Cold Shelter Brew Co - 6.2% ABV. B++, sweet fruit aroma, gentle sweet and sour. Pleasingly fruity and refreshing #ale #beer #bier 3.5/5. Superior and different sour from Cwmbran. Oats that give it a smooth mouthfeel. A gentle banger.

Chocolate Ottoman - Weird Dad / Cap’n Gokey - 5.5% ABV. B++ and a touch. Even better than my first tasting at Weird Dad. Chocolate and Orange #ale #beer #bier 3.6/5. With artwork from the Good Cap’n, you have to try this before it sells out. Putty still on draft.

Black Rock - Tudor Brewery - 5.6% ABV. B+ and a bit and a touch. Rich, malty, roasty with a long coffee bitter finish #ale #beer #bier 3.4/5. This has certainly improved since my tasting. Brewed just up the road. Strangely sunny in Newport.
