Don't want to be contentious, but since OP brings up Christianity... 1. Why use "Marxist" when devil and demonized will suffice... According to genesis 3, Didn't it begin with the phrase "did God really say..." Ergo, shit will be always spewed and I am sooooo thankful for people like yourself publically calling it out... A corollary, the word censorship is badly applied in the filter debate ... OTOH, discernment would have served Adam and Eve and it serves anyone in these significant debates (and node choice(s)) 2. Bitcoin, the technology, does nothing to preclude groupings from family, to companies, to towns, to even countries and civilizations from using it in socialistic ways... While it certainly changes the playing field to be able to credibly defend smaller and smaller groupings, the current geopolitical moment (and might I suggest, failure? , of bitcoiners , to coalesce in the fabled citadels for self-defense) may "force" the stereotypical hyper-capitalist, individualist, american bitcoiner to reconsider vast parts of their worldview shortly... 3. I don't disagree that there are many Christians who recognize bitcoin as an "honest weight and measure" but I would argue a significant majority of Christians remain resistant about it for many (largely uneducated) reasons... the OP conflation of 'Muricanism with Christianity does a disservice to adoption of Christ AND of bitcoin among Christendom (not least because of passages like acts 2:44--which may seem Marxist but are rather glimpses of the future eternal kingdom of Christ... To which Christ-less Marxists will not be invited) Thanks for coming to my Ted talk on the dangers of capitalists masquerading as super Christians :)
