This one is a little bit controversial- I typically prefer to use my card if a merchant or restaurant is not holding the bitcoin but I wanted to give this service a try. Bitcoin payments are becoming mainstream by the day and 3rd party platforms are enabling us to hold less and less fiat. In the US, Square just announced bitcoin payments will be integrated into their POS system, which means accepting bitcoin as payment doesn’t require any technical ability or custody. Whether it’s good or bad that bitcoin adoption is happening from the top down is up for debate, but certainly we are living through a massive transition in how the financial system functions.

It’s in our economic interest to spend bitcoin. Greshams law ignores the capacity to think into the future and doesn’t account for those living on a bitcoin standard.

BTC Balkans 2025- had a vision for a bitcoin only event that unites the Balkans countries and rejects fiat. 7 Balkan countries attended, and sponsored and the presentations/panels were fantastic. If you want to build on bitcoin, smaller regional conferences are the way to make lasting connections.

The place we went today had a person who would put ice with essential oils on the rocks and wave a fan or towel To get the hot air moving. It was epic almost a show with music and the entire sauna clapping and cheering during the hottest part. Such a cool Experience

The hardest days for bitcoiners are still ahead. We have not won. That being said I am incredibly optimistic about the future. Even if the evidence supports being black pilled, I refuse to accept it. Spending time around bitcoiners in real life, the optimism is contagious. It seems to be the opposite online.
