LotR but its set in a towering imperial city where the airspace and ground beneath certain floors of the 5km high tower residences is pure hinterlands, mines of the future. The events of the story takes place in sky high residences of these towers and all the orc wars happen on the ground.

The sound of a real future Imperial city is its monorails(gliderails?) travelling at 400mph screeching on titanium alloy lines to brake and take off within minutes when you are on a sidequest in a shady outbar doing stuff

I like to pretend I am a tiny cog among billion others in a Neo-Tokyo Imperial city, it makes me feel very in place with myself and God.
