Recent conversations bring to light a topic I believe is ripe for discussion. In 2009, for the first time in the history of the world, a purely monetary protocol was created. Bitcoin. A single use case is a feature, not a bug. No distractions from the pure purpose of freely exchanging and storing value. Those pushing additional use cases onto the protocol are serving their own financial interests, not the network's monetary integrity. Complexity introduced for non-monetary purposes creates attack surfaces, governance disputes, and incentive misalignment. Adding use cases does not strengthen money — it dilutes it. Restore Bitcoin as a pure monetary protocol so it can equally empower every human on earth with the financial freedom to transact and store their wealth without fear of confiscation, dilution, inflation, or manipulation. BIP-110!
Please post this on X so I can ask Grok if it’s true. 😅 Love your posts. Have an amazing day.
I love this comparison. LimeWire was great but essentially decentralized theft. Bitcoin is a great decentralized money.
Another great interview. I you are on my “must watch” list. I love the variety.
Thanks for the reminder. There will always be an excuse to make the money printer go bbrrrrr.
