Me: Burns through my monthly allowance of maple ai credits to get Openclaw🦞 setup. Buys $20 of extra api credits to finally try it out. Ask it to give me a text notification on WhatsApp if any of my s19’s heating my house stop working. Openclaw🦞: Builds for 15min while asking me to approve permissions for literally 50 different things. Then notifies me my api credits are gone.

Openclaw in its little sandbox is the dumbest thing ever. It couldn’t even give me a 7 day weather forecast?!? It’s like a totally neutered version of GPT that took me five days to setup and a pro subscription. I need to go outside for a walk

My problem is I have a windows machine and Maple doesn’t have a windows desktop version yet. So I’m using Docker to try and run the Linux version. But I just get one error after the next.

Note to self: When setting up OpenClaw, don’t get crafty and try to use MapleAi right out of the gate. Set it up normally and then tell it to set itself up through Maple. Holy fudge, I’ve wasted three evenings and I still haven’t gotten it to work. (Also I work construction and have no idea what I’m doing)
