I feel the similar. While I’ve always been vigilant not to put anyone on a pedestal. I did appreciate the knowledge they turned me on to, and respected them. Now it seems they’ve noticed their own “popularity” and it’s gone to their heads. It’s a shame.

god these Knots / Core discussions are in sufferable. So far the only info I get from Knots side is from non-devs saying things they read on twitter… and finishes with, “use knots cuz Core devs are assholes.” Core devs are the only ones tell me actual information about what the code is doing. I still don’t know what side to believe, but I think it’s become a little more clear. Thank goodness this isn’t a hard fork.
