A kumtumia B bitcoin) huandikwa kwenye block mpya.

#Bitcoin #UelewaWaFedha #TeknolojiaMpya #BitcoinSafariTz

It might makes sense just to get some in case it catches on. If enough people think the same way , that becomes a self fulfilling prophecy.

Yesterday’s Proof of Work session with Joshua Graham was a remarkable and insightful experience, centered around the topic: “Bitcoin & Nostr.” Joshua took us on a deep dive, starting with a clear explanation of what Bitcoin is, how it works, and why it matters in today’s financial and digital landscape. He then introduced us to Nostr (Notes and Other Stuff Transmitted by Relays) — a decentralized protocol for building censorship-resistant social networks. Joshua broke down how Nostr works, its significance in the era of increasing digital control, and the difference between centralized social media platforms like Twitter or Facebook versus decentralized platforms built on Nostr. He also shared practical examples of Nostr clients such as damusapp, Amethyst, primalapp and Iris, and guided attendees on how to create a Nostr account using various apps. The session was highly interactive, with many participants engaging and asking great questions, seeking clarity on how Nostr and Bitcoin intersect to build a freer internet and financial future. We at BitcoinSafariTZ are extremely thankful to Joshua for his time, energy, and knowledge. His contribution greatly empowered our community. We look forward to more collaborative sessions that help expand Bitcoin and decentralized tech education across Africa.

🔁 Recap of Yesterday's Bitcoin Class — PoW Session with Charlie Yesterday, we had a powerful and insightful session during our Proof of Work (PoW) Bitcoin class, featuring Charlie as our guest speaker. The topic of the session was: “Bitcoin & Building a Circular Economy in Africa” We had a truly engaging and educational session where Charlie shared deep insights on how we, as Africans, can build a strong and sustainable Bitcoin circular economy across the continent. 🧠 Key Points Charlie Shared: 1. Start Local – Build trust within communities by educating local merchants and consumers. 2. Merchant Onboarding – Guide business owners on how to accept Bitcoin (on-chain and Lightning) and the benefits they can gain. 3. Spending Opportunities – Ensure people know where they can spend Bitcoin, which increases usage and adoption. 4. Listing on btcmap.org – Charlie showed how Tanzanian businesses can easily list on btcmap.org, increasing visibility globally. 5. Education First – He emphasized the importance of quality Bitcoin education before any adoption efforts. 🌍 Global Examples Charlie gave a great example of Berlin's Bitcoin Circular Economy, explaining how they: - Onboard merchants - Educate the public - Build strong local usage He also compared this with successful efforts in El Salvador, showing how consistent education and real-world use cases lead to growth. 📚 Bitcoin Education Tools To help African communities grow, Charlie strongly recommended two open-source Bitcoin education platforms: - https://myfirstbitcoin.io – Known for the Bitcoin Diploma program used in El Salvador. - https://planb.network – Offers free, structured Bitcoin education in multiple languages. ⚡️ Real-World Test: Chapsmart During the session, we tested a real product from Tanzania — https://chapsmart.com . We demonstrated how anyone from around the world can send money to Tanzania via Bitcoin using Lightning, and the recipient receives it instantly through their M-Pesa number. It was fast, smooth, and a perfect example of Bitcoin utility in Africa. 🧠 Final Words from Charlie: > “Understanding money is the first step to understanding Bitcoin. Without that knowledge, people will remain vulnerable to scams and altcoin hype.” He urged everyone to prioritize education before speculation and to focus on real adoption rather than hype. 🎉 We are very thankful to Charlie for the amazing session and the knowledge shared. Students from Tanzania, Kenya, Nigeria, South Africa, and more participated and asked great questions. 📌 If you missed the session, don’t worry — we’ve got a full recap and resources for you to go through. 👉https://drive.google.com/file/d/1ABcnT7uuXoBGnSeAZMgLHz88_D6-lf2v/view?usp=drivesdk Stay tuned and keep learning — the Bitcoin journey has just begun! 🧡
