I noticed a lot around me that did not seem True or Authentic. I saw early on that most folks were pretty mad - a view that endures today, unfortunately. I believe that much of my creativity welled up from being left alone (now classified as 'neglect') to learn actively, directly from immersion in Nature and Natural Law. I built shelters, sewed clothing, wrote stories and songs, set up improvised theatres, shops, businesses - then slowly grounded myself in my early teens, in an intensive practise of drawing and painting. A lot of our early #homesteading is flying-by-the-seat-of-our-pants kind of stuff. This is the best way to learn (the most) (in the shortest period of time)!
