The #BlockParty is back! Get excited for the return of crowd mining. What is the block party? The Block Party is a team solo mining event. Instead of mining alone, a group of us pool hashrate for a fixed window of time and aim to find a block together. Everyone who joins contributes hashrate, everyone shares the same odds, and if the party finds a block, the full block reward is split proportionally among all participants. Think of it as turning solo mining — usually a boring, low-odds grind — into a collective moment where the whole group is rooting for the same hash. What happened? Due to platform and admin issues in October, we thought the party's shared mining address was lost (it wasn't) - and took the party offline. Why is the block party back? Due to popular demand! Since everyone kept asking for block party to come back, we made several improvements. Heather is back as the block party's host. And we're working on a new referral system for teams. If we mine a block, rewards go directly to your bitcoin wallet after the party ends. Is this legit? Yes. The mining address is with a 3rd party vendor and requires multiple signatures.
