No, not more secure. They can make a decision on how and when they upgrade their cryptography faster than Bitcoin, which must start as a BIP.
They can upgrade must faster because that is a management decision. BTC is a upgrade that is acceptable to the Bitcoin community. Much slower and messier process.
To preserve and grow it's value, BTC must remain decentralized and secure. There are threats to both on the road ahead.
I'm curious, don't know much about the Beef Initiative. What makes it sketchy?
The cut looks relatively clean, that was probably not killed by another animal.

While this sounds lovely, the benefits of BTC purchasing power need to be realized. The last five years offered few opportunities for real inflation protection (2022 and 2023 Bitcoin accumulation). If you purchased Bitcoin in 2021, 2024, or 2025 your fiat escape advantage was more philosophical than practical. If we want to verify (not trust, right?), then the math needs to check out without going back to 2020.
Thank you. I agree. My response was focused on the "price" aspect of the wornout, and now not-so-clever, catch phrase of "Everyone gets Bitcoin at the price they deserve." It was fun when Max Kaiser tossed it around many years ago, but the math doesn't check out for many buyers in the last 5 years. That phrase is both arrogant and ignorant, a rare double-disappointing position.
I never liked the, "Everyone buys Bitcoin at the price they deserve." Over the last 5 years it only rewarded you in 2 years. Were buyers in 2021, 2024, and 2025 less deserving than those in 2022 and 2023? OG influencers love to tell you about the huge CAGR, but that keeps getting extended for any significant upside. Used to be 4 years and you were ahead, then 5 years, now they will tell you 10 years. The recent cycles are so muted now, they have to keep moving the goalposts.
