Imagine, there are privacy advocates out there who prefer using credit cards because Bitcoin “isn’t perfect.” They take themselves seriously when they shouldn’t.

No but Alaska (1.7m2) is still 2.4 times bigger than Texas (0.7m2) and larger than Quebec (1.5m2). The mercator projection is misleading but the north is quite vast nonetheless!
Making Arkade payments at DCTRL. Natively and through a Lightning swap. Pretty smooth!
I'll be at the Calgary Bitdevs this Tuesday! Starts at 18:30 in the upstairs meeting room of the Nicholls Family Library. https://www.meetup.com/yycbitcoin/events/308746197/
Nationstates are stacking Bitcoin, treasury companies are trending, fund mangers break records with ETF listings, the dollar is melting, nobody is buying treasuries, stocks are booming and the world is heading into a devastating recession. Every night I sleep sound knowing that absolutely none of this can affect the Bitcoin price.

Over on the “other” bird platform, half of all tweets are just pysops trying to trick you into clicking on the header or profile picture of an account. The most moronic way of engagement farming, driven by a predatory algorithm that only has one purpose: Make you a braindead consumer. Tell your normie friends to opt out before it’s too late.
The last independent English-language news outlet still operating in Hong Kong, HKFP, was subjected to an audit by the territory’s tax authority that lastet two years and covered seven years of business. The audit “uncovered” ~US$390 in discrepancies, for which HKFP paid ~US$7,300 in fines. Absolutely ridiculous. https://hongkongfp.com/2025/10/31/20-month-random-govt-probe-into-7-years-of-hkfp-accounts-uncovers-alleged-hk3k-tax-shortfall-as-audit-concludes/
Yes I have it installed, it’s metered usage, and I find it confusing to keep myself informed which provider incurs which cost, which can differ by a full magnitude in the same country. It’s not very cheap if you use it regularly, unless you consume very little data. I mainly use it as a backup to get internet to buy more LNVPN packages lol
Real cars have steel wheels.
Thank you and DCTRL for hosting!
