Hi Contra. Please let me know how you got on. We have had some rought edges with using Zapstream server since Kieran updated to the new version. We will have to release a new version of Shosho to smooth these out. In the meantime the below is a guide to help. Alternatively you can also always BYO RTMP server of any kind

Users are reporting trouble streaming to Zap Stream since Kieran upgraded the Zap Stream server yesterday. Please let us know if you have an issue connecting to Zap Stream at present. You can continue to go live with any other RTMP streaming server.

An update for Zap Stream server users. Kieran has made changes so you can use ZS with Shosho again 😅 There are a couple of rough edges. For now, if you follow these steps to reconnect the server you should be good to go. 1. Press Start Stream. You will see some kind of warnings, which we need to resolve. 2. Press your ZS server panel. This will open the server screen. 3. Press the "..." on your ZS server. You will see a menu 4. Press "Settings" to open your ZS server settings In the settings you will see the new ZS endpoints for the new ZS server which Kieran has launched. Choose one. You may also need to Accept ToS, may like to Top Up your ZS account and set a title, description and picture for your stream. When ready — 5. Press Save Settings. This will return you to your broadcast screen. 6. Press Go Live This should work for most users and if not, let us know as Kieran is working on improvements and bug fixes for his new server at present. For Shosho, we will work on a new release which will iron out these rough edges so we can get back to the "one click to live" experience we're aiming for.

Thanks for sharing. It is caused by a change Zap Stream made yesterday. We are sorry for the inconvenience and are working on it. Here's the update:

An update for users who are trying to go live on Shosho to Zap Stream server. Yesterday Kieran launched a new version of ZS server and turned off the old version. Unfortunately we didn't know this was happening. Every new Shosho user gets set up with a ZS server to use, but unfortunately those defaults are the old version, so Shosho will fail to connect. For getting a working ZS server back into Shosho, we are testing the new version and once we've worked it out we can provide users with the new ZS server details and also ship a new version of Shosho which migrates the ZS server from old to new setup. This is all very frustrating and we're sorry for the inconvenience. Shosho users can still stream to any other server they like, for example with API(.)video, and all live streams will be displayed on all Nostr clients like shosho.live, Primal, Amethyst, etc, no matter which server you choose. We will be in touch!
