Last day at the Lake

I probably don't t as a full day. Jesus is the Sabbath, so rest is found in him. I think Jesus painted a larger picture here. Yes, old testament teachings took a full day of rest and reverence, but Jesus calls us to rest in him 24/7 in all that we do. There is wisdom in taking a break, in stopping. I think this can look different for different people and different seasons of life. One season of life may require a person to take a full day (maybe Sunday), another season may be a week sabbatical, and another season could be short (hourly) Sabbath daily. I'm willing to admit that I could be very wrong, but as I reflect on this this morning, that's what I'm thinking.
