Sowing those beans far and wide
Then they didn’t lie!
So instead of Craze Rich Asians it should be Crazy Rich Elon
That sounds super familiar, but exactly the opposite of what I get
I popped beans in under my peas. So when the peas die out I will go right into beans
I am eating nothing but salads for weeks! I didn’t mention my lettuce problem, lol
Morning Maria
Morning Nostriches! Morning garden report is that I have problems I’ve never dealt with before! I have a 42 quart stock pot full of spinach & no idea what to do with it. Hubs had broke out the dehydrator & his plan is to make powdered spinach, but I think you need to freeze dry for that. I need suggestions. I’ve never been successful before, now what? #coffeechain #homesteading
Nope! My seeds were from 2019 though, so I didn’t have high hopes to begin with
I planted a bunch of these in my flower area. My seeds were super old so I threw them in & crossed my fingers
Morning Silas
Morning Nostriches! Morning garden report is a pic of the other side. Couple of pics since someone was interested in the garden bed design. These 3 beds are my oldest & shallowest. Simple construction, just a couple of boards banged together & some soil thrown on top. #coffeechain
Those bastards! Although that’s just fuel for hunting season
No carrots, but I have pea flowers. There will be peas!!
Morning Jay - it is a happy activity. Pulled some spinach to sauté into my eggs today
To the moon Zinfandel? Buy the dip Cabernet?
I live on 14.5 acres in Amish country in Ohio. I have raised chickens, turkeys, ducks, rabbits & sheep. I’ve planted cherries, hazelnuts, peaches, mulberries, paw paws, apples, pears & nectarines. I garden (badly) but I am learning more every year. I work remotely for a bank as a mortgage underwriter- fingers crossed I am still doing that when you read this. I hunt on my land - have gotten 5 deer since I moved out here. Into everything homesteading.
