Nothing worse than a bad cookie
Mine were fabulous! I made a chocolate cherry chip with pecans
There are still some left; I’m gonna head back to the plate
I’ve most definitely had enough cookies to last another year
TBF there’s only one way to remain in 2025 & it’s not a pretty option
Just emphasizes how important she was & how incredibly special she was. Just be thankful that she ended up in your life as you were the one who could appreciate her.
So sorry for your loss
Yep, I did that on cookie making day too. Cookie serving day I exceeded that. Gonna have to hit that elliptical hard in January
Mr brother is into taxidermy, me not so much. We did do the preliminary work for some sheep a few years back, but didn’t send it out for final processing. Ended up throwing the hides away.
Nice!!! I made my cookies last week & froze them. At this point in time I’ve already eaten too many of them. Going into a sugar coma soon…
It’s super tasty - had some with breakfast today as I am only having a few for the actual meal. Didn’t need the 2nd loaf
Oof. Worst we ever had was a nephew who had the stomach flu on the holiday. I’m one of those people who is highly susceptible to such a thing & spent the weekend with my face in a place that was not made for my face. Gotta love that holiday chaos!
I live on 14.5 acres in Amish country in Ohio. I have raised chickens, turkeys, ducks, rabbits & sheep. I’ve planted cherries, hazelnuts, peaches, mulberries, paw paws, apples, pears & nectarines. I garden (badly) but I am learning more every year. I work remotely for a bank as a mortgage underwriter- fingers crossed I am still doing that when you read this. I hunt on my land - have gotten 5 deer since I moved out here. Into everything homesteading.
