Would a GPU like 7900xtx (24GB vram) be able to run good local LLMs?

One of the nicest things in #monero imho is that even if you're a broke-ass nigga with a regular laptop, you can still mine and help the network almost the same as a rich dude with the most expensive setup. Broke-ass nigga will hash around 2kH/s while rich rude will hash around 20kH/s. OK, that's one order of magnitude more, but still negligible at the grand scheme of things. Not like #bitcoin that you're completely out of the race with a regular laptop.

Mate 16% yearly interest is not a walk in the park. To get that return one will have to be exposed to risky, unreliable assets. Also you should consider 4-5% inflation silently corroding that amount. After 10 years of 5% inflation, one would need 3250 USD to purchase the same 2000 USD purchased 10 years before. If it was that easy everyone would be selling their homes and living stress free between resorts on pacific islands.
