Mahmoud al-Ahmadi, 25 years old, interviewed the judge who sentenced him to death. The judge told him that he had confessed to killing former Attorney General Hisham Barakat in Heliopolis by detonating a car bomb in June 2015. He stated that he would argue with the judge before God on the Day of Judgment and complain to Him because the judge had wronged him. Mahmoud added that his confession came against his will at the State Security office and the police station—so much so that he said: "Give me an electric shock and I will release any person who admits that he killed (the late President Anwar Sadat). We were tortured with enough electricity to power Egypt for 20 years." Mahmoud al-Ahmadi was sentenced to death without any clear evidence for these charges. Yesterday, this evil judge died. May Allah torture him in hell for his guilt.
