Human form is not necessarily the only sentient life form in the universe. Just because we may get eliminated it doesn’t mean that other sentient species or beings in the cosmos will do so as well.

Basically, the answer to both questions is, yes!

This is the basis of evolution and with human existence the development of the collective unconscious mind. Science research has also recently postulated that the human mind and consciousness exists outside the body.
