enigneering and natural sciences have no priority in germany. your salary is shit due to imported labor. your pension will be a joke. of course, you pay shitloads of taxes. most people try to become government officials who pay only half the taxes, get premium healthcare and vast pensions. if this is not possible, people at least try to work for the government otherwise in some relaxed position. what a surprise that such an environment does not produce a lot of innovation.
