in general, the iron law of wages seems plausibel to me... that's why in my opinion you should try to avoid to be "average" - which i personally translate into having some special skills

my claim mostly holds in europe and the americas.... no idea about africa and asia though... i guess the major problem are corrupt power structures... if the system is "capitalist" or "communist" or whatever doesn't really matter in my opinion... all real-life systems are a mixture of both approaches anyways

acquiere some useful skills... build your own fortune by consistently spending less than you earn.... and you will live comfortly... depending on your definition of comfort of course...
