i want to say this with full respect to everyone who hosts campaigns and challenges here because i genuinely appreciate the effort it takes to run them. this comes from a place of wanting this community to be better, not from wanting to tear anything down. lately i've been actively joining challenges. i read the mechanics carefully. i follow every instruction. i submit on time. and then when the winners are announced — i'm not there. and what stings isn't even the not winning part. it's not knowing why. if there are only 25 slots and i'm participant number 10 or 12 and i followed everything correctly — what disqualified me? was it the quality of my entry? was there a criteria i missed? was there something in the judging i didn't know about? i genuinely don't know, and that's the problem. so this is my honest ask to anyone hosting campaigns and challenges on bchnostr: please be transparent about the full judging criteria — not just the mechanics, but what actually makes a winning entry. please be clear about deadlines and stick to them. please announce not just the winners but acknowledge everyone who qualified and participated. and if someone's entry didn't make it, even a general reason helps. we are spending real time and real effort here. that deserves to be met with real accountability on the other side. i'm still going to keep joining. i'm not giving up on this community. i just think we can do this better — together. 🌱

okay genuine question for the community, is the search function on bchnostr just not working for some people or is it just me? 😅 i've been trying to search for piscesdragon (if I remember his username correctly) for 3 days now and nothing is coming up. zero results. i'm not sure if that means the account was deactivated, if i'm doing something wrong, or if it's just a platform glitch on my end. the reason i need to find him is i joined the blog challenge he hosted and i can't remember the deadline anymore lol. i need to check the details again before i miss it. if anyone knows what's going on with the search, has his profile link, OR knows the deadline for the blog challenge — please drop it in the comments. would really appreciate it.

i want to take a second to talk about the people here because i don't think it gets said enough. when i first joined bchnostr, i was mostly curious about the platform itself — how it works, what you can do, how the tipping works. the people were kind of secondary in my head. i didn't expect much. but then someone replied to one of my first posts with a genuine, thoughtful response. not a bot. not a generic "great post!" comment. an actual person who read what i wrote and responded to it like it mattered. and that kept happening. people here check on each other's campaigns. they tip when they can. they leave real comments. they share knowledge without gatekeeping it. when someone is going through something hard, the community shows up. when someone launches something new, people actually engage with it. i've been on a lot of platforms. i have never seen a community that genuinely acts like a community the way this one does. so this post isn't about a feature or a milestone or a campaign. it's just a thank you — to everyone here who makes this place worth showing up to every single day. you know who you are. 🌱
