i am on the same boat, these ai thing is powerful but really scary. I feel it on myself, letting this thing go fully inside my job is making me less competent. If all the work of a sw dev is speaking with ai in a generation code dev will be useless. Other scary point, what is different code languages meaning in the long term? Why ai should write in C, C++, java, rust or anything else while can just writr assembly code? You just describe and go...and don't tell me the fairy tale that coders will check ai result we all know that a point where trust in ai will be 100% is not far...i don't believe any dev here saying he checks rhe code generated by bots. With thi ai is here, but be careful, we all know what happened to the internet, no more a tool of freedom but a mass surveillance system. Do you really think ai will have another ending?
