The sun goes down too early now to be afraid of going out. You are right, it is one incident of many nights where nothing happened.
Hopequesting ✨
😍yes! I want to attain those vibes!
Time to go shopping! It is an action step in the right direction.

Honest moment: I am not a fearful person. A few months ago I was chased down and pursued by a man while cycling home from work at night. He chased me in a car and tried to strike me with his car, then he chased me on foot after I crashed my bike to avoid him. I ran to a family in an SUV and I think they saved my life. I starfished my body on the hood of their car so they would stop because other vehicles passed me. The man finally got back in his car and left. ANYWAY… by the grace of God I was left unscathed. But I have a lingering fear of going out alone at night and it is interfering with my ability to socialize. I feel a little nervous even walking after dinner like usually have done. I want to overcome this feeling. I am not a fearful person.
My work prevents me from bringing a firearm to campus, but I can get some other self defense weapon. This is good advice. Thank you.

As a middle school teacher you learn there are some boys (yes, it is always boys) who love to squeak their shoes on rainy days. These boys grow up.
All I knew when I was a kid was that Bob crawling over a sofa the way he did was the scariest thing I had seen!
Refreshing to read this.✨ When people ask when I plan to retire I answer that I do not plan to retire. I will do my work as long as I am useful because I love it and it gives me purpose.
Something about Sam Altman’s face makes me want to kick him in the shin. I feel a little ashamed about that.
The family who helped me called the police but the police did not come since there was no crime. That was one reason I felt more vulnerable. I am going to force myself until this feeling fades.
Some boomers have particularly bad instincts and have to learn everything the hard way. Tucker is the textbook example of that trope.
This is at least 4 levels of dumb.
You add fun to this place. I have always appreciated that about you here and also when I was on X. 🤙🏼🧡
