I like the way MATE looks, which from my understanding, is what GMOME 2 looked like. I had used GNOME2 long time on Ubuntu before Unity desktop (which I actually liked) but not much as I never got that version of Ubuntu to install. MATE is comfy. Also GNOME3 on Antergos was nice but they removed so much like tray icons etc. That being said I still would not go back, I just like my simple i3. But MATE is still nice. If I had to choose though maybe I would do KDE but unsure. There is a lot of choice out there.

Kind of what I am doing, except I just jump to deploying Reticulum and adding MeshCore on the side 😂 So I guess not what I am doing at all 😂😂
