uber and doordash exist because theyve made it difficult to compete. but theyre large platforms that grow at the expense of the people doing the driving. then there are open protocols. today, theres no open reputation system where someone needing a ride or food delivery can easily and freely choose (or automatically have chosen) an individual to pick them or their food up and pay that individual directly. nostr and bitcoin can enable more disintermediation like this.
