I almost got the 100-500! I'm glad I went with the 200-800 though. It has been awesome for what I do. The only problem is now I want an extender! 🫣 Also, if you want a camera bag that you can actually set up so you can leave the 200-800 attached to your body, I have the Lowerpro ProTactic 450 AW. Totally worth the money, super comfortable, and I can literally slide the lens straight down into the bag from the top with the body attached. Super convenient. What subject do you typically shoot? And what camera body do you have?
