Why has OpenSats not actively moved to remove NVK? His recent activity and reaction to this terrible situation shows a lack of character and that he should not be trusted. If OpenSats does not move to remove him, that implies, IMO, that they condone the avoidance of accountability. (That has been obvious to me for years at this point... But I digress.) Remove NVK. It's a simple, corrective measure that needs to occur.

I am watching the original Ocean's 11 for the first time. The subtexts are actually way better than I was expecting. The setup of the guys all being 82nd Airborne veterans hitting casinos wasn't what I was expecting. It's actually way better than i was expecting, though, the first third of the movie was setting up the heist seemed nearly unnecessary, but, I am actually enjoying the meandering story. It isn't rushed. I always enjoy Dean Martin's singing. Overall, I am finding this very interesting even though I generally detest everything about Las Vegas and don't really get the appeal of a lot of the Rat Pack milieu. I am curious to see how the story ends. #randomthoughts

Because a wallet implies you put something *into*it. The mind go boom thing is that you aren't moving anything into a wallet, you're just proving, with keys, that you can access a certain amount of sats.

Yeah. I really, really hate the term "wallet." Should never have been used. Caused me so much mental anguish.

Man... Everything you are talking about is so utterly repugnant to my worldview. I go out of my way to find cool projects and help as I can. Nearly NOTHING that has come out of big orgs in the nostr space is actually good. I find the reliance on this type of captured thinking to be what is actually holding back innovation due to the gravitational forces distorting the market into delusional nuttery. NVK has always been a douche. His monetary influence allowed him to secure a position of widespread influence in "the community" when all he's done is threaten and slander plenty of people who host wanted to do cool stuff. I don't wasn't big orgs the same as I don't want government. They only make everything worse. "I'm from the government and here to help" is the same as "I'm from satsystackorg and here to help." All of that disgusts me. Yes, it might seem unreasonable, but the evidence of history is utterly condemning that kind of thinking if you desire to be free to do what YOU want to do.
