“Imposter syndrome” is a misnomer whenever it’s used to pathologize cognitive dissonance felt by people in bezzle jobs. The label reassures them that they belong and that their work is valuable, instead of asking whether their doubts might reflect an uncomfortable truth: that the fiat economy demands their value while creating none. I.e., When you don’t add value, you sell bullshit. AI is such a beautiful scapegoat for a pre-existing problem no one wants to address. Smh
