I don’t know many details but I do know someone personally that has this. She no longer can eat beef I believe and thinks it is caused by a tick bite that occurred a year or two earlier. She lives in the US and does quite a bit of hiking. She would occasionally find a tick on herself and her dog.

I think it’s difficult to generalize diets. Each of us have different nutritional needs. Things such as our age or what our ancestors ate matter. I’ve tried various diet trends over the years but now find experimenting with different foods and observing their impacts on my body, energy, mind and general well being is best. There are no one size fits all diets. Do some experimenting and see what works for you.
